1. What does my 4-day instructor training registration include?

  • Access to the 4-day workshop (of course)!
    • Registration for Wednesday, September 25 thru Saturday, September 28, 2024 will open May 1st
    • 9:30am to 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time each day with a lunch break
    • Teacher's copy of the HelloBirth Student Guide Book
    • Access to your training Dashboard to guide you through the learning experience:
  • Eligibility to complete and submit a filled business strategy template after the workshop (see #3 below)

2. What will the training cover?

  • Foundational hypnosis concepts: techniques, principles, pain perception, therapeutic application and best practices
  • Hypnosis for birth intensive: using your voice and presence to maximize effectiveness for your students and clients
  • Childbirth education intensive: anatomy, physiology, medical and nonmedical tools --
    • Always good to review this information and observe how someone else teaches it! However, this occurs on the second half of day 1 and is optional if you have prior experience as a childbirth educator, doula, L&D nurse, etc. We'll just need to verify some form of documentation as a pre-requisite, which you can email to info@hellobirthclass.com
  • Opportunity to teach and give feedback, live in small groups: for each of the 4 HelloBirth© curriculum units
  • Business intensive for childbirth educators, so you will leave feeling inspired to get started and grow!
  • Collaborating with competition, finding your niche and brand voice, search engine optimization and websites

We also want you to know that birth equity, accessibility, and cultural humility will be baked right into each and every conversation we have during this training.

3. How do I certify to teach?

We're actually not huge on certifications in a traditional sense. We believe that if our values align, you don't need to prove to anyone that you're fit for the role. However we do believe that process and organization are extremely important. To that end:

  • Step 1: Complete / attend the 4-day workshop (sorry, it's mandatory and will not be recorded for replay purposes -- doulas, get your trusty back-ups lined up!)
  • Step 2: Complete and submit a filled business strategy template (that we provide) and sign your HelloBirth Member Pledge after the workshop to gain:
    • 1 year of free membership, renews annually for $199 next year
    • Certification to teach!
    • Full access to the HelloBirth© hypnosis audio program
    • Ships when you certify: 150-page spiral bound Teacher's Guide: your roadmap for facilitating classes
    • Eligibility to purchase student sets for $60 (free shipping)
    • Additional class materials:
      • The student's digital guide
      • Class slideshow
      • Suggested activities and links to relevant videos to show in class
    • Pre-recorded live class series to review / observe a real 4-part class series with pregnant students

4. How can I pay and register for this training?

  • Pay in full (10% discount): $1260
